Myles Loftin Photography

I made these portraits this summer at Gia Love’s ‘Celebration of Black Trans Women Cookout’ in Brooklyn. As a photographer one of my main goals is to showcase the vast beauty within my community, and with this project I wanted to create images that expressed the appreciation I have for my people. These images are a visual love letter to the individuals who allowed me to take their photo, each one handled with care. It is such a pleasure to be able to make work that fills my heart with joy, and then to be able to share that with the world. I feel so much warmth and happiness when I look at these images, I hope you feel the same.
